9TH  EUROPEAN FENCING FESTIVAL

JAN NOWAK MEMORIAL CONTEST

4-5 June 2016, Poznań, Poland

 

 

We are happy to invite you to participate in the European Fencing Festival 2016, organized for the 9th time in Poznan, a historical capital of Poland, situated in the geographical center of the Old Continent. The main event of the Festival is Jan Nowak Memorial Contest (foil) for children and teenagers  (‘01-’02, ‘03-’04, ‘05-06’, 07’-08’). This year, as well as the year before - for each participant we guarantee at least ten fights

 

Sport/Culture/Education are the keywords of the Festival. Jan Nowak Contest is one of the major fencing events in Europe. It is open for players from all over the world. At the past, we hosted fencers from 20 countries. The tournament will take place on June 4-5, 2016 in Poznan

The city of Poznan offers comfortable air and train connections as well as the motorway (highway) access from Berlin - western Europe.

 


Please find enclosed all needed information regarding the Festival (organizers, location, program, fees, referees, formula and accommodation) as well as the application form.
